THE RIPPER….
May 13th, 2006Super “D”!
Start on CBC, TNT, Upper Dales to Mushroom Trail = up. Down Lower Corkscrew, Pingu, Team Pangor and then hang a left on the Bridal Path up up up to the finish line!
Now that’s a race. It was a “team” event, so you travel in packs of 2 or 4 and you must cross the finish line within 15 seconds of each other.
Loading up at 7:30 am….sun’s out – it’s gorgeous!

But “Team Shuttlewhore” was enjoying the show anyway….
I like the wya these guys think….consume as many beers as you can on the way down….I believe they each had a six pack of Stella or sumthin’ in their packs….

I will post results of the race as soon as they put them on line, I’ll let you know how Johnny ans I did. We were “Team CLHT” – which stands for: Chain Less Hard Tail. Yup, we rode the whole thing on our hardtail bikes sans chain, shifters and derailleurs! I have the bruises to prove it!
