one more sleep….

December 25th, 2004

Another sleep-in today….felt fantastic at first. First order of business – Baileys in the coffee. I don’t think last nights debauchery caught up with me until we got to Grannies house.

First stop in town we picked up a 28 lbs turkey, stopped in at Freedom Bike Shop said our Merry Ho-Ho’s, adding Drambuie into our lattes. Moving on to the local Ski Shop to visit our long – lost friend, Janine, which we heard was in town.

At Grannies I treated the 2 glasses of yummy white wine as if it were the instant cure for the Tequila – induced hangover I had.

Back at the cabin, I had a little cat-nap with Johnny’s second cousin Margaret (4 mos) until it was time to head up the mountain for the Torch light parade.

Johnny got some pretty cool shots from the back end of the parade. It was the first time we seen so many people turn out to not only to be in the parade but to see it as well. What a cool feeling.

Some great dinner, a little clean-up and then off to the Gun Barrel to check out the action!

Santa’s coming in one more sleep!

=)

I’m out,
