Johnny and I are up at the folk’ cabin at Apex for the holidays. The skiing sucks by the way, but spending time with friends and family, drinking and eating good food is really good.

We left Vancouver after I was done work on the 22nd, got up to the hill around 12:30, straight to the GunBarrel. No one was there so we went to the cabin and as we were backing slowly down the driveway, slowly, we ended up sliding and picking up speed, almost hitting the cabin! In the morning we had a late breakfast with our friend Cindi-Lou, a lazy day. We followed his up with a yummy steak dinner with Mom and Dad. Ski hill guy, Fred, stopped by with his saxaphone and serenaded us before dinner too!
