Just got off a night shift -
May 4th, 2006- and there was just no way in hell my landlord and her many household construction projects was going to allow me to have any sleep.
So I jumped in on a Cove Club-like ride with soem of the boys, Johnny, and Chaz (and Aussie). Started up on CBC, and near the top I snapped off my sweet X-9 derailleur… 
I pulled everything off and went chainless – no worries – caught up with the boys and rode all the stunts too!
Within about 20 minutes, Johnny also snapped his carbon fibre version of the same. So now the only 2 harttails in the group were both chainless…..but still rippin it up and staying with the group!! bahahahahaha! what a freakin riot the riding was!! I had such a smokin good time! So did Smoke! We decided to make a Team for the upcoming Ripper race, “Super ‘D’ ” on May 13th…the catch – we won’t have any derailleurs, or shifters and hardtails only!!!
