Well, Spring is definitely here!
I spent the last couple days stripping Johnny’s kevlar kayak down, bought a fiberglass repair kit and went about repairing the old boat.
I didn’t get a before, before picture (I forgot) but I did get pictures of the boat just after I was done fiberglassing the S**t out of it:

and here’s one of the big holes on the top of the boat:

This boat has been around for a while and well used, sadly neglected. Fortunately I am such a nice person and decided to tackle a new project. i’m not done yet, but hopefully over the next week I will take care of the sanding/finishing and repaint the boat the original sky blue it was before someone painted it the awful green that it presently is…..

Oh yeah, Johnny took me on a secret supa-fun rip this afternoon! What a hoot to be on such a fun flowy, old school trail again! All that pedalling was still a blast even on a big squishy bike!!

Well – its a “school” night….off to bed!
