Watch the egg over the next few days as the vinegar slowly dissolves the shell on the egg – Day one:

Day four: Dump the old vinegar, replace with fresh stuff:

Day five: The “Naked Egg” is on the left and the normal egg with a shell is on the right:

The “Naked Egg” is slightly bigger that the egg we started with because the egg also absorbed some of the vinegar as the shell dissolved.

It was an awesome night (should have had some running shoes to keep up with Chevy, fancy boots made it hard to catch her!!), Valdy was super cool, he even shared his microphone with Chevy after the show so she could sing for everyone just like him!!

Chevy has been busy skiing in the mornings and then dog sledding in the afternoons – so needless to say all that fun tires a little girl out:

Christmas morning & a very excited little girl! Chevy woke up to her over stuffed stocking next to her in her bed….she came into our room and exclaimed: “SANTA SNEEKED INTO MY ROOM LAST NIGHT!!!!!!!!!!”

It only took a little creativity and 21 pairs of wool socks to make Chevy’s costume and 1 pair to make “Stan”:

Last year after knocking on doors, Chevy would just walk right into people’s homes.

This year Chevy seemed to be taking survey’s of each home:

“Do YOU have any PETS????”

If there was a positive answer, then she proceeded to ask to view the pet, and most times walking right in to optimize pet viewing/visiting opportunities!

Chevy LOVED Halloween this year…was very much in the know of what was happening and what it was all about (getting candy!). Chevy new what to do and needed no prompting at all.  It was awesome to see her reaction to the other kids out and the cool costumes some kids were wearing!!  Chevy even screamed at the “scary” ones!!  =D
