DAY THREE… HAPPY NEW YEAR!!!!

Woke up to a blue bird day. Ski hill was still closed, breakfast was late, directly related to the -30 something temperatures and large hangovers…….
The winds had died down but it was still f***ing cold, and no new snow. Hung around long enough for the cook (the owner) to get cooking….and then we hit the road.
We took the scenic way via the Yellowhead HWY to Sun Peaks.
Followed the Rockies all the way.
Johnny said to me that it would make his day if he could see a moose. He had only seen 2 in his life so far
We saw three today. This is moose #3, it ran away from Johnny and his camera.
We made it to Mama Wilson’s house at Sun Peaks in the early evening. Peter and Kelly were there. Peter’s daughter Olivia and our buddy Doyler were there too. “Do you mind if we stay?”……
