Day Three & Four…
October 12th, 2005These last 2 days we went over hoses; the first day, we learned the different ways to roll hoses, and different ways to load the different sizes of hoses onto a truck. The next day, we learned how to perform the drills we may be expected to do on the State skills final exam.
Here are some of the things I learned….
Extending a 2.5″ line pre-game coach tips:
Clamping the 2.5″ hose:
Bleeding the line and removing the nozzle….
Extending the line with a 1.5″ hose.
Re-setting the skillstation.
Here we are practising attaching a 2.5″ female hose coupling to a 1.75″ female hose coupling using a choice of adapters, hose appliances, and/or reducers…..
