Day Four….
July 17th, 2005Top of the list for today’s riding was Gilliard in Kelowna.
On the way up we stopped to check out the huge mother f’king road gap that we’ve all seen before….
The thing was huuuuuuuuuge! If it wasn’t for the runout being so sh*t bagged by 4×4′s and Atv’s carving it up, it may have been considered by some of the boys….but not for this gurl.
The trail started with “Kerplop” which has seen more than a few transformations, namely the big fires from a couple years ago. Things seem to have recovered quite well, the trail is thriving, stunts galore!

Further down the trail things get more technical, like this skinny:
Then this 8 foot step down is at the end of a long ladder bridge section that carries riders over a swampy section:

The last line on this trail is a combo of several skinny lines that drop you onto a road over another barbwire fence.

That trail was just the “warm up” apparently….what comes up next was one continuous stunt on “Lick Her Sore”….

That goes into ladder ramps…

Then things get even bigger and more interesting…

…step down 10+ feet to a step up wooden lip gap, then rail the wooden berm to another 10 foot stepdown to wood lander.

After that, its a constant skinny line to tranny to skinny etc….

Last trail, “Boss Hog” was well worth the short climb up the road…

More big moves and sweet rock lines…

The last move was a 6 foot drop and straight into this sweet wooden berm!

This was followed up by frosty cold ones by the lake……who could ask for more???
