Play-date with Chevy’s friend, Rose!!

Chevy got the ski harness system and a new ski helmet from Santa this winter and now she is so good at skiing that Dad-dad only had to control Chevy’s speed while skiing down the beginner run from the Quad chair!!!

Watching the  Dummy Downhill at Apex:  Chevy was most concerned when the “dummies” crashed and smashed!!

Discovering the world of Dr Seuss!  i brought out all my old books and we LOVE reading them!!  Then we discovered that some of the stories could be found in the animated version online: “Horton Hears A Who”:

Chevy has figured out how to use my camera, so we gave her one of our old ones (but it didn’t last long…) but she took some very interesting photos!

Chevy, Cooley and I went for our first hike to Hardy Falls! In the first pic – if you look closely, there is the bird we saw; a Dipper!

Busy month…you see?

I had to work a night shift, Dad-dad was already at work all weekend, Grandma & pa had a date for part of the night, so Chevy had a playdate with her best friend, Caedae!!  Her first night out and she gets caught in bed with a boy!!  =D

Making cookies with Mama:  Chevy is very good at cracking eggs now, and no shells in the cookies either!

    

…add a few handfuls of raisins (to keep Dad’s away…)

..and a generous handful (or two) of chocolate chips too!

..if you look real close, Cooley is making bubbles in the puddle with her nose.  Chevy thought this was the best!!

 

Chevy LOVES going to the Energyplex in Kelowna!!  Always asks to go…

This time she met an older boy named Jackson who was a real gentleman!!  He played with her and helped her up and thru the parts of the Energycube that she was a bit short for!  Just before we had to leave, I let her go thru the Cube on her own (but I followed her in a way she couldn’t see me) and watched her.  Chevy spent the whole time crawling around trying to find her Jackson again!! Calling out his name…  So cute!  =D

See you next month!!  The sun is coming out more, its getting warmer and the snow in the hills is melting fast (well lower down anyhow – the ski hill, Apex, is getting more snow than ever!!), the bikes will be rolling soon…..soon!
