What a beautiful day!!
Grandma organized and hosted the shower for Baby Smoke!!
Out of all days on Friday the 13th….this should make for an interesting day.
Many old friends came out of the woodwork and all the women-folk in the family as well.
I was touched by how many people are excited about the baby and who can’t wait to welcome him/her into the world!
I will say that I felt most awkward about opening someone else’s presents….infront of such an audience!
A big THANK YOU to all that came out – it was great to see everyone, and…
Thanks Mom & Dad!!

I suppose these pictures are something only a mother could understand and love…..
but here is a shot of the kids heart and heart rate, thumping away at a healthy 124bpm @ 8 months!
And here is a profile picture of Baby Smoke, the hands are up by the cheeks:

Now this one you have to use some imagination. It’s a face shot, Baby Smoke’s right hand is up against the cheek, you can see the tiny scrunched up nose (I think it’s my nose….) and the two dark spots are the eyes. Baby Smoke is making a scrunch-face just like his father….
