What a smashing success! I have never, ever seen sooooooooo many people show up for a trail day event! It was great to see about 100+ men, women, children, dogs, cyclists and non-cyclists come out to play in the dirt! The whole section of the Baden Powel was totally face lifted!

I spent the day learning exactly what goes into painting a bike frame properly. The prep work is the hardest, but in the end we both ended up with very sexy bikes!
It’s not completely finished yet, but here’s a taste of it as is….
The next time you see this, it’ll be built up ready to ride! I’m just so excited!!! I can’t wait.
I also have a ’05 Foreplay all painted up, but I’ll surprise ya’ll with that when it’s all built up too!

I have been finding far too many excuses not to go riding. So today I dropped all my excuses (including the fact that Johnny took my Peeler to ride with the boys) put some air in the tires of my one-speed hardtail and rode all the way up to Pangor. It was such an amazing day! Chatted with a few people along the way. Lemme tell ya, all hose hours in the gym over the winter has paid off!! Some of the hills I had trouble riding up (read = get off the bike and walk) I actually cranked it all the way! Yeehaw! So stoked……
The ride down was just as fun….this ride was well worth not studying, and not cleaning my house or doing my laundry for!!!!
