Bye-Bye truck…..
August 10th, 2008This truck has been great for us for the last 7 years, but it was time to get new wheels..….
I am really sad to see it go but realistically since we have a little baby coming, there isn’t any room to put the car seat with out a third door, and with fuel prices these days….need I say more?
Here’s the old girl all spruced up ready for someone to kick the tires:
A young Kelowna guy snapped her up (lucky fella), he seemed pretty stoked on getting it since his last truck got written off because some lady used it for stopping instead of her brakes.
I saw him driving around town with it as soon as he bought it….it looked good on the boy!
He worked me over on the price, but fortunately we got enough to get this little number:
It’s a 1998 Subaru Outback Limited Edition, withe just over 200K on it, nowever, it was meticulously maintained, fully loaded AND heated leather seats/interior!!
How sweet is that?
….I think I can live without being truck-girl….
Looking forward to our first road-trip with the kid!!!!
…oh yeah, and speaking of the kid….
I am 6 days overdue right now and Baby Smoke is playing shy (like his father and mother who also didn’t want to come out on time…).
I am trying to be patient….an wait.
