Apparently I rode (still flailing with keeping up to mass amounts of paperwork – aaarggghh) a bike again today…as I am still waiting for my frame I obviously have been stealingthe Shop Demo….and I’m loving it! I just about can’t wait any longer….I’m so stoked on the Peeler DH, I am convinced that THIS IS THE BIKE FOR ME!
If memory serves me correct (usually it doesn’t, so don’t believe ANYTHING I say…) Myself, Katrina and a buncha boys went for a rip…you geussed it – Seymour Mtn. I think we started with CBC again, but over to TNT and then to Dirty Diapers(old-school technical trail), over to Dale’s Trail when at the top, Katrina made a faceplant from the first log ride/drop. Oops, and she even made us worry. We made sure that everything else was OK before we helped her walk back up to the road. Realizing that Katrina was beginning to feel better (a good sign!) the boys went ahead and took some fast trails back to the house to hurry up and get the vehicles, so they could meet Katrina and I at the Old Buck Lot. Once we hit the Old Buck trail, Katrina was feeling good enough to coast slowly down to the lot….It coulda been worse, Katrina was lucky – tho she did get a black eye for a few days and a very sore thigh (from being pinched inbetween the frame and the handlebars!) Wish a speedy recovery to Katrina so she can get back on her wheels in time for our First Annual Shoregirls Adventure to Penticton in a few weeks!
